01 / Our work

Big challenges.
Purposeful solutions.

From health information workflows to clinical operations, our focus is practical technology designed around the people doing the work.

AI + HEALTH INFORMATIONResearch & Development

AI-assisted
medical coding.

Tejvero is researching how artificial intelligence can support Canadian medical coding workflows involving ICD-10-CA and CCI, while keeping professional judgment at the centre.

Our research explores how AI can help identify documented clinical facts, organize coding considerations, highlight missing or unclear documentation, and support coder review.

Our medical coding technology is currently an R&D prototype and is not yet available for production clinical use.

R&D Prototype

From research to a working prototype.

We’re developing an AI-assisted coding decision-support environment designed around Canadian health information workflows.

The prototype allows de-identified clinical scenarios to be reviewed through a structured workflow that can identify documented information, surface coding considerations and highlight questions requiring professional review.

Decision support only. Final code selection must be verified by a qualified coding professional using current authorized classification resources and applicable organizational policy.

Human in the loop

Designed to assist, not replace.

The goal is to support HIM and coding professionals with structured decision support while keeping interpretation, validation and final coding decisions in professional hands.

02 / Our approach

Progress, with principle.

Healthcare deserves more than clever technology. These are the principles shaping what we build.

01

People stay central.

We aim to support healthcare professionals with useful information while keeping decisions in human hands.

02

Privacy starts early.

Privacy considerations guide our development from the beginning, alongside the needs of future healthcare partners.

03

Built with context.

Canadian health information practice informs our research, with an emphasis on practical workflows and careful evaluation.

03 / The people behind the purpose

Technology experience.
A health information perspective.
